About the artist:
A native of Marietta, Sandy studied drawing and painting at the University of Georgia where her training included time abroad in Cortona, Italy. Even as a child, she honed her talent as an artist by drawing family, friends and teachers. Whether it is a bright eyed toddler, a treasured homestead or a cherished pet, Sandy strives to capture the intimate beauty and personal character of the subject. From photo realistic portraits to impressionistic landscapes she loves to create timeless memories through her art.
Her career as an artist is the perfect meditative complement to the busy day-to-day life of being a mother of three. Sandy feels incredibly blessed to be able to balance her two passions- motherhood and art.
