Steps for Sarasota Walkathon & Community Celebration - Junior League of Sarasota, FL

Steps for Sarasota is a Walkathon and Community Celebration hosted by the Junior League of Sarasota at Nathan Benderson Park.
Proceeds from ticket sales go directly back to the community through grant funding, leadership development and volunteer projects. The walkathon portion of the evening kicks off at 4 p.m., right before sunset for a glow-themed experience! After the walk, a Community Celebration will kick off at 5:30 p.m. at the park with a DJ, food trucks, local businesses, and wellness vendors.

Gran Fondo Sarasota is a race created by the Team Tony Cancer Foundation to help raise funds, support, and provide for cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers in our local community.

The Legacy Trail Ultra 60K
The 5th Annual Legacy Trail Ultra is a FREE 60K Ultramarathon, sponsored by the Manasota Track Club, that runs the Legacy trail. This is an out and back course that starts at Payne Park, Sarasota, runs south 18.6 miles before turning around and heading back. There will be no road closings and limited aid stations.
Race start time is 7am. You will have 10 hours to complete the distance.
More information will be available closer to the event date.

The 50th Annual Sandy Claws Beach Run is a longtime tradition in Sarasota's running community. It is ran by Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources in partnership with presenting sponsor New Balance University. Set a fast pace across the hard-packed, world-renowned sand of Siesta Beach in the chip-timed 5K, sanctioned by the Manasota Track Club and part of the MTC Race Series, or enjoy a leisurely morning stroll along the shore in the 1-mile fun run.
